Banana is a children's learning studio in Hong Kong for ages 1–6. We teach English through play, games, and storytelling — so learning feels like the best part of the day.
Who we are
A small studio with a big belief about how kids learn.
Banana is an early-childhood English learning company based in Hong Kong. It began with a single studio, led by an early-years teacher whose classes filled up on word of mouth from the parents who trusted her with their kids.
Today we're building a small family of products around one belief: young children learn English best when they're playing, laughing, and telling stories — not staring at a screen or drilling flashcards.
And because many parents in Hong Kong didn't grow up speaking English themselves, everything we make is designed to bring them into the journey too.

The people behind Banana
Two people, one problem, opposite sides.
Banana was founded by two people who kept meeting the same problem from opposite sides. One is an early-childhood educator with years in the classroom and a studio full of families who adore her. The other is a technology leader with over a decade building AI and cloud products. Together they're making English learning that's warm enough for a toddler and smart enough to grow with them.

What ages do you teach?
Banana is for children ages 1–6. We group classes by age so the play, pace, and language all match where your child is.
How do you teach English?
Through play — games, songs, and storytelling — so English feels natural rather than like a lesson. Children pick up the language by actually using it.
What language are classes taught in?
Classes run in English, with warm, patient support so even first-time learners feel at ease. Our team also speaks Cantonese with families.
